These Terms govern your use of EasyMetrik, provided by EasyMetrik. By installing or using the App you agree to them.

1. The service

EasyMetrik provides server-side and browser-side event tracking from your Shopify store to GA4, GTM and Meta. Features and limits depend on your plan.

2. Eligibility and account

You must have a Shopify store and the authority to bind your business. You are responsible for your Shopify account and for the credentials (GA4 secrets, Meta tokens, Google connection) you provide. Keep them secure.

3. Your responsibilities

• Comply with all applicable laws, including privacy, consumer-protection and advertising laws.
• Provide required notices and obtain required consents from your customers. You must run a compliant cookie and consent banner and publish your own privacy policy.
• Comply with the terms of Google, Meta and Shopify, including their data-use and advertising policies.
• Do not use the App to send unlawful, sensitive or prohibited data, or to misuse the platforms it connects to.
• Do not reverse engineer, overload or interfere with the App.

4. Data protection

For customer personal data, you are the controller and we are the processor. We process it only on your instructions as described in our Privacy Policy, which forms part of these Terms and serves as our data processing terms. Contact us if you need a signed DPA.

5. Plans, billing and usage limits

Paid plans and monthly event allowances are shown in the App and billed through Shopify Billing. When your monthly event limit is reached, event sending pauses until you upgrade or the next cycle starts. Fees are non-refundable except where required by law or Shopify’s policies. We may change pricing with reasonable notice.

6. Third-party services

The App depends on Shopify, Google and Meta. We are not responsible for their availability, API changes, policy changes or decisions (such as rejecting events or suspending an account).

7. No guarantee of results

Tracking accuracy depends on browser consent, ad blockers, platform processing and your configuration. We do not guarantee any particular match rate, attribution accuracy, ad performance or revenue outcome.

8. Intellectual property

We own the App and its code. You own your data. You grant us a limited licence to process your data solely to provide the service.

9. Availability and changes

We aim for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. We may modify or discontinue features with reasonable notice.

10. Termination

You can uninstall at any time. We may suspend or terminate access for breach of these Terms or legal risk. On termination, your data is deleted as described in the Privacy Policy.

11. Disclaimers

The App is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, to the fullest extent permitted by law.

12. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, or for lost profits, revenue, data or ad spend. Our total liability is limited to the fees you paid in the 12 months before the claim.

13. Indemnity

You will indemnify us against claims arising from your use of the App in breach of these Terms or applicable law, including your failure to obtain required customer consent.

14. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of India, and disputes will be resolved in its courts, unless local law requires otherwise.

15. Changes and contact
